It seems that the possibility of a casino is again on the table in Beloit Wisconsin. See the article below from Channel 3000 out of Madison Wisconsin.

BELOIT, Wis. — There are new signs of life for the proposed Beloit casino project.
The Beloit City Council is preparing to begin negotiations for a new intergovernmental agreement with the St. Croix and Bad River Band of Chippewa Indians, and the Ho-Chunk Nation, WISC-TV reported.
The casino project stalled with the Ho-Chunk Nation’s prior purchase of a parcel of land set aside for the project.
Beloit City Manager Larry Arft said on Thursday that negotiations between the parties could begin in the next few weeks.
The tribes will still need to file a new application with the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs.
